What is perfection and what is not?
Does anybody know that besides god?
Is someone out there who can tell me?
Or do I have to do die and ask god, maybe?
Question over question flying through my brain.
If I don’t find perfection, will my life be in vain?
Everyone had flaws and makes mistakes.
Maybe I have to lower the stakes.
I’m looking for one, just one perfect thing only.
But as time goes by even I get lonely.
Cold and empty, but beating is my heart.
I want perfection, even if it’s just a shard!
Moving on as the time passes me by.
No perfection, no matter how far I fly.
Each and every place, no perfection there.
Can humans be perfect and worlds rightful heir?
Now I am standing close to the edge, full of fear.
Suddenly it comes to me, I smile and see it clear.
No matter how and where you grow up, you are perfection.
Because you are only you and not someones copy or reflection.
Some people look for the one perfect thing. Maybe the perfect partner or the perfect living being. Sometimes it is just a blossom they're looking for. But can there be perfection?
Wonderful poem and message.
This made me think a lot, there's no perfection anywhere and still,we're constantly looking for it,searching every corner just to find ourselves wasting time; "but as time goes by even I get lonely" we have to accept the reality. You got the skill in writting! c':
Amen! Perfection is unrealistic simply because it's unattainable. We all have our own standards, which means there is no one definition for "perfection"; nobody is completely perfect. If you go looking for perfection, you'll always reject the happiness that's right in front of you. This poem is very well-written and sums up our ultimately futile search for perfection.
nah, perfection is bullshit and it will never exist because we are humans, humans are imperfect by nature, why change that fact.
Yes, that is true. I wanted to point out that humans with all their flaws are perfect as they are. Each and everyone is perfect as they are. You can look for the perfect blossom your whole life, but in the you have to admit that each and everyone is perfect for itself, because it is unique.
